Vaughan is a public law specialist with international academic credentials and practical local knowledge. A former senior lecturer in Constitutional and Administrative Law, European Union Law and Immigration Law at the Cayman Islands Law School, Vaughan retains academic affiliations with the Small Jurisdictions Service at Oxford Brookes University and the School of Business and Law at Kingston University in the United Kingdom and has recently been a Visiting Professor at the University of Alabama in the United States. During his career, Vaughan has been appointed to numerous public bodies in the Cayman Islands, ranging from the Human Rights Committee and the Gender Equality Tribunal to the National Pensions Board and the Special Economic Zone Authority. Vaughan is also proud to have had the opportunity to serve the Cayman Islands Government as a senior civil servant in the Ministry with responsibility for Education. Having established Juris Consulting in 2012, Vaughan is now seeking to utilize his unique combination of academic expertise and local administrative experience in the development of a legal practice focusing on public law.
